What is Meant by Hijrah?

The migration from the lands of shirk (polytheism) to the lands of Islam.

If he migrates from the lands of shirk as a repentant one who turns sincerely to Allah, this migration becomes an expiation for him, provided he migrates sincerely and repentantly.
