Question:
What is your opinion on someone who describes the writings of Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab in jurisprudence (Fiqh) and creed (Aqeedah) as being repetitive?
Answer:
This falls into one of two categories:
First: It is either an ignorant individual who has neither studied them nor grasped their reality. It is incumbent upon such a person, before passing judgment on a matter, to study and comprehend it first, rather than judging it while remaining ignorant of it.
Second: Or it is someone harboring misguidance, and these books actively censure his misguidance. This is the most apparent case—he is like a sick individual who loathes the medicine.
Nonetheless, we ask Allah to guide him, and we advise him to read these books with deep contemplation and to seek clarification regarding whatever confuses him.
