What are the nullifiers of Islam?

Answer:

The nullifiers of Islam are numerous. The greatest of them is “associating partners with Allah the Almighty” (Shirk) by invoking the dead, seeking their aid (Istighatha), slaughtering sacrifices and making vows to their graves, and other types of worship performed at shrines to draw closer to the dead in order to request needs from them.

Among the nullifiers of Islam are: Magic—learning it, teaching it, and claiming knowledge of the unseen—and deeming it lawful to rule by other than what Allah has revealed. Others include intentionally abandoning prayer, mocking the religion, cursing Allah, cursing His Messenger (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and mocking the Qur’an or the purified Sunnah.
