The Muslims must first and foremost rectify themselves—they must reform themselves, repent to Allah, return to their religion, and implement the law of their Lord. If they rectify themselves and prepare to fight the enemy, Allah will grant them victory over their foe. However, so long as they remain unrighteous within themselves, they will not be able to resist anyone, and Allah will give their enemies power over them due to their altering of their religion.
