Question:

Were the children of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ considered Sahabah (Companions) or Prophets? May Allah reward you with goodness.

​Answer:

The children of the Prophet ﷺ are considered Sahabah (Companions); this is because Allah says: “Muhammad (ﷺ) is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allâh and the last (end) of the Prophets.” [Al-Ahzab: 40]

If his children had been prophets, they would have come after him.
