May Allah be generous to you, O Eminent Shaykh. This questioner says: In my village, there is only one mosque, which belongs to the Tijaniyyah [Sufi order], and they practice their bid’ahs (religious innovations) in this mosque. Is there any prohibition if I pray in my home with my family?
Answer:
Look for someone among your neighbors and brothers to establish a Mushalla (prayer place) where you can pray together. If you do not find anyone, then pray in your home with your children and your family. Yes.
