Ruling on participating with Christians in their non-religious celebrations

Is it permissible for a Muslim to participate with Christians in their non-religious celebrations and share in their sorrows, such as birthday celebrations or sending condolences to the bereaved in or outside the cemetery?

Answer:

Sharing non-religious celebrations and sorrows with the Christians is not permissible.
