Shaykh Muhammad ibn hasan ibn Abdul-Rahman Aal Al-Shaykh

Name and Early Life:

Mohammed bin Hasan Al Al-Sheikh

A member of the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars, his full name is Mohammed bin Hasan bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulatif Al Al-Sheikh. He is a descendant of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulwahhab. He pursued his education through the regular formal school system, progressing sequentially from elementary to intermediate and secondary school.

Academic Qualifications:

He subsequently enrolled in the College of Sharia at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. After completing his undergraduate studies, he joined the Higher Judicial Institute and graduated with a Master’s degree.

Works and Positions:

  • Worked as a lecturer at the College of Sharia for a period of ten years.
  • Appointed to the position of Fatwa Member at the Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta in 1421 AH.
  • Appointed as a member of the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars in 1426 AH (corresponding to 2005).
  • Appointed as a full-time member of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Fatwa (a subsidiary of the Council of Senior Scholars) on the 11th of Rajab in 1426 AH.
  • Serves as the Chairman of the Subsidiary Endowments (Awqaf) Council in the Riyadh Region.
  • Has served as the Khateeb (preacher) at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh Mosque in Riyadh since 1412 AH.
