Manhaj Al-Salaf

Salafism or Salafiyyah means adherence to path of the Messenger ﷺ, and his Companions.

In islam, Salaf are the Companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the three generations that came after them.

Bid'ah means something that has been introduced into the religion of Allah that has no basis to support it.

Question

Ruling on treatment with sedatives and tranquilizers

What is the ruling on medical treatment with sedatives, tranquilizers, and drugs that affect the brain and overall awareness?

It is not permissible to take medical treatment with the mentioned substances, or anything that is prohibited by Shari`ah.
