Salafism or Salafiyyah means adherence to path of the Messenger ﷺ, and his Companions.

In islam, Salaf are the Companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the three generations that came after them.

Q: What is the meaning of Bidah

Bid'ah means something that has been introduced into the religion of Allah that has no basis to support it.

Question

Fabricated Hadith: 'The best among you is the one whose first child is a girl'

Question:

Is the following a true Hadith: “The best among you is the one whose first child is a girl” ?

Answer:

This saying is groundless and not attributed to the Prophet (peace be upon him). There are similar wordings mentioned by Al-Hafidh Al-Suyuti in his book “Al-Ahadith Al-Mawdu’ah (Fabricated Hadiths).”
